Angelia Gay Bankston
I am Angelia Gay Bankston, a native of Atlanta and proud Georgia peach. I am a 2 times Breast Cancer Survivor, Thriver and CanTcer Warrior. I am dedicated to celebrating the lives of ALL cancer survivors at no cost to them through a luncheon to celebrate the strength, courage, resilience and
will to live of other survivors.
Event History
The Hats Off to Survivors luncheon is the brainchild of Breast Cancer Survivor and CanTcer Warrior -Angelia Gay-Bankston. This event is designed to celebrate and honor all cancer survivors that have made it through the long process, as well as those that are just beginning the fight. Most cancer patients go through their diagnosis and treatment with a wonderful support system to help them through the difficult process. The support system for a cancer patient usually includes family, friends, co-workers, and even other cancer patients and survivors who all work together as a team. I invite survivors of all Cancers to gather your support team and come celebrate our journey’s together.
There is also a dedicated group of health care professionals onsite to answer questions and share information that empowers everyone to take charge of their health.
In addition to the Hats Off to Survivors event, gift cards for food and medical needs are provided through out the year. When needed transportation is provided for treatment to warriors in the fight.
